For the successful Transport Coordinator our client is offering:
* Salary £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
* Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
* Permanent

The role - Transport Coordinator:
* Ensure the safe operation of all Transport activities in Shrewsbury and Oswestry, ensuring compliance with H&S legislation & safe systems of work
* Full management of the fleet and transport operation
* Ensures that all DVSA compliance standards as well as company’s own compliance standards are adhered to at all times
* Scheduling for PMI, MOT, drivers routine checks, among other compliance measures
* Ensure all incidences and accidents reported are fully investigated and actions taken as necessary
* Keeping accurate compliance records
* To manage the transport routing
* Work closely with warehouse management to ensure goods are loaded correctly
What our client is looking for in a Transport Coordinator:
* A good understanding of transport regulations, compliance, and fleet management - ESSENTIAL
* Proven experience in transport management, ideally within a logistics or distribution environment - ESSENTIAL
* Food Industry experience - DESIREABLE
Key skills or similar Job titles: Transport Manager, Transport Assistant, Transport Coordinator, Fleet Coordinator
