We are seeking a skilled Treasury Operations Manager to lead our client’s treasury function. Excellent knowledge of treasury management policies is essential. We are looking for someone who has a passion for treasury management, debt management, and risk assessment, and who is looking to make a significant impact on the organisation they join.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Leadership: Lead the day-to-day operations of the Treasury function, ensuring top-tier service for all stakeholders.
* Treasury Plan Implementation: Assist the Head of Treasury in executing the annual treasury plan, ensuring compliance with treasury management policies.
* Debt Management: Implement and maintain effective debt management strategies, managing loan and covenant agreements, and bank accounts.
* Compliance: Ensure all contractual requirements within the group’s loan agreements are met, including timely capital and interest payments and monitoring compliance with loan covenants.
* Banking Requirements: Oversee day-to-day banking needs, ensuring banking platforms, mandates, and KYC requirements are accurately maintained.
* Cash Flow Management: Provide cash flow forecasts, manage the group’s cash to meet daily requirements, and invest surplus cash with approved counter parties.
* Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure all treasury transactions are accounted for in accordance with applicable Accounting Standards, reconciling treasury codes and managing data in Titan Treasury.
* Procedure Documentation: Periodically review and update procedure documentation to align with best practices.
* Team Management: Manage and mentor treasury accountants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Recognised accountancy and treasury qualifications
* Up-to-date knowledge of treasury regulations, trends, and best practices.
* Extensive experience in treasury and debt management.
* Proven track record in negotiating with banks, lenders, and government bodies.
* Successful management of a complex treasury portfolio.
* Excellent stakeholder management ability
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and make data-driven decisions.
