Job Description:
Tate Recruitment Ltd is proud to working with a well established fashion retailer and are looking for x3 talented RTR Accountants.
* Department: FINANCE & OPERATIONS
* City: Leeds
* Rate: £150-200 per day
* Contract Length: ASAP- 31/10/2024
* Hours: Full time Monday to Friday 2/3 days in the office
Role Responsibilities
* Reconciliation, review and approval of RTR balances and manual journal adjustments.
* Preparation and review of RTR reports for internal and external reporting
* Responsibility for assigned functional areas end to end processes and reporting including any direct reports
* Key contact for Group Finance & External Auditors
* Responsibility for managing stakeholder relationships, issue resolution and working collaboratively with all.
* Responding for a significant number of ad hoc queries, and analysis as required, prioritising work effectively to ensure that these queries are responded to on a timely basis.
* Line Manager providing support and review of work for direct reports, providing regular feedback
* Ensure compliance with the Group Policies, including operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
* Role may require work on some weekends/public holidays during half year and year end periods.
Qualifications & Experience

* Undertaking a professional accounting qualification e.g. ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA.
* Accounting role within a large, listed, multinational company is desirable.
* Experience in applying IFRS or local accounting GAAP is required.
* SAP training and certification is desirable. Experience of BPC is an advantage.
* Must be able to fully grasp the broader issues and provide functional guidance to those reporting to them, rather than rely on their own technical skill set.
* Worked within a multicurrency environment, analysing and understanding the impact of movements in exchange rates on reported results is desirable.
* Advanced Excel skills with experience of building and working with complex models and large data sets.
