Senior Accountant
Interim 6 Month Contract
Hybrid Working
£400 per day (Umbrella)
Halliday Marx have partnered with a Global Telecommunications Company to recruit a Senior Accountant on an interim 6 month contract.
Hybrid working and based in their luxury City of London offices, the Senior Accountant will support month-end close, management and financial reporting and the annual audit.
Key duties will include, but not be limited to:
Assist with the group preparation of local financial statements under GAAP’S
Preparing group monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Monitor the progress of the EMEA statutory audit
Supervises the efficient closing out of any audit queries raised by the auditors
Close liaison with Tax, legal and external auditors to ensure compliance deadlines are met
Monitoring the accounting fees actuals vs forecast
Assist the external reporting manager with one off or ad-hoc projects
The Successful Candidate:
Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
Previous SAP experience is desirable
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS)
Strong attention to detail
Deadline driven and can work to tight deadlines
