The Role

Supporting across the planning and implementation of operations for one of the company’s main shows the Deputy Operations Manager’s responsibilities will include:
•          Assisting in the planning of large scale shows from an operational and logistical perspective
•          Working to project timelines
•          Liaising with and organising large teams of contracts
•          Working with various internal departments
•          Organising and managing the site offices during delivery
•          Compiling key documentation such as the exhibitor manual
•          Taking the lead on selected smaller projects within the show
•          Generating floor plans and health & safety documentation
•          Taking responsibility for budget lines
•          Providing overall administrative support to the Operations Manager
•          Supporting with implementation and delivery onsite during live days
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience in liaising with external contractors and providers, (internal liaison will be across multiple departments), management of a budget and management of Health and Safety in respect of events.
Flexible working is required, including some weekend and evening work
