Job Description:
An Accounts Payable Clerk is needed to join the Accounting & Finance team in a reputable company based in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable function.

Description
* Manage and process all invoices and payments accurately and timely
* Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
* Maintain vendor files and accounts payable documentation
* Prepare and perform check runs
* Assist in month-end closing and audits
* Communicate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
* Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
* Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
* A sound understanding of accounts payable processes
* Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines
