NXTGEN have an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a market leading business based in Huntingdon on an initial 12 month FTC. As Management Accountant, you will deliver month end management accounts, commercial reports and bank reconciliation’s. The Management Accountant will also play a key role in supporting an on going systems project with in the business.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
* Production of month-end management accounts
* Budgeting and forecasting with stakeholders
* Variance analysis
* Accruals and prepayments
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Control account preparation and review
* Ad hoc project work
The successful candidate will ideally be fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent). Prior experience working in a similar position is also essential. Those candidates who are part qualified but have demonstrable and a proven background in a similar role will also be considered. Excellent Excel and analytical skills are essential, combined with the ability to develop strong internal relationships with operational teams and stakeholders. You will be a confident communicator with an ability to influence key business decisions through quality financial insights. Having experience of working with SAP will also be beneficial.
Salary - £50’000 - £55’000 (Depending on experience)
