Job Title: Head of Employment Law Solicitor
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

This firm prides itself on delivering exceptional legal services across a wide range of sectors. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Employment Law Solicitor to lead their dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the employment law department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal advice and services.
* Provide strategic leadership and direction to a team of employment law solicitors and support staff.
* Advise clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including but not limited to, contracts, disputes, redundancies, dismissals, and TUPE transfers.
* Represent clients in employment tribunals and court proceedings.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and confidence.
* Stay abreast of the latest developments in employment law and ensure the team is informed and compliant.
* Contribute to business development initiatives and identify opportunities for growth within the department.
* Collaborate with other department heads to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive service offering to clients.
Requirements
* Qualified solicitor with 5 years plus -qualification experience in employment law.
* Proven track record in managing a team and delivering outstanding legal services.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Proactive approach to business development and client relationship management.
* Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements.
