Job Description:
This Legal Associate role is a key part of the legal department, responsible for providing comprehensive legal support and advice to the business. It requires a candidate with strong legal knowledge, excellent communication skills.

Description
* Review, draft and negotiation of commercial agreements, NDA’s, services, supply and/or purchase agreements, licensing agreements and other contracts of low to moderate complexity in support of the business.
* Prepare and review documents related to general corporate and litigation.
* Review documents related to company secretarial matters and provide direction.
* Draft correspondence and assure communication and timely responses to and from outside attorneys, company staff, and insurance carriers.
* Research and analysis of law, preparation of briefs, and assist with strategy development.
Profile
* Accredited degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience
* Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
* Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
* Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable laws and guidelines.
* Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
* Experience working in either private practice or corporate or government environment.
* Applicable license(s) and registration(s) in area of speciality or discipline.
* Outstanding project management, organisational, and critical thinking skills.
* Excellent communication and writing skills.
* Highly organised, detail oriented, with strong ability to prioritise.
