Job Description:
Role: Accounts Payable Supervisor
Location: Mayfair
Salary: £50-60k + bonus & benefits
Robert Half are currently working with the London branch of an industry leading US investment bank.
They are looking to hire a talented AP Supervisor to join their high-performing finance team.
This role will be hybrid, with 4 days per week in the office.
Role
The AP Supervisor will be running the day-to-day of the AP team abd working closely with the AP Manager. They will take on a number of key duties including:
* Creating, maintaining, and reviewing KPI metrics to track the progress and execution of BAU and projects
* First escalation point for transactional queries
* Provide final review and AP approval on our cloud-based accounting software for all supplier Invoices and employee expense reports
* Ongoing support to the team incl. resource planning to ensure sufficient coverage
* Lead business and IT initiatives (payment integrations, corporate accounts to include UK and overseas offices)
* Periodic review of the firms T&E policy including newly onboarded activities. Consultation with the business as appropriate
* Work with the AP manager to establish and document key procedures and priorities whilst establishing clear escalation channels and timelines across all entities for which AP is responsible
Profile
The ideal profile for this progressive AP Supervisor role, should have the following attributes:
* Experience managing/supervising an AP team.
* Strong knowledge of debits and credits.
* Experience in a multi-currency environment
* Willing to work as part of a team.
* Prior experience using a cloud-based accounting software package an advantage
* Prior experience in financial services or professional services environment
Salary & Benefits Package
