Role: Accounts Assistant (AP)
Location: City of London
Salary: £35-45k + study support & benefits
Robert Half are currently working with a market leading insurance group based in central London.
They are looking to hire a talented Accounts Assistant to join their high-performing finance team.
This role will be hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office.
Role
The accounts assistant will be working on the purchase ledger, working closely with the management accountant, and take on a number of key duties including:
* Processing of invoices for an allocated range of vendors;
* Dealing with supplier queries;
* Administration of all bank accounts, including mandates, opening and closing accounts and online access;
* Processing of multiple currency payment instructions onto the system
* Posting of all bank-related journals onto the SAP general ledger;
* Reconciling approximately 15 bank accounts for London, Singapore and Canada on a monthly basis;
* Processing of employee expenses;
* Assisting the team with ad hoc duties.
Profile
The ideal profile for this progressive Accounts Assistant role, should have the following attributes:
* Experience processing a high-volume of invoices monthly.
* Has worked with multiple currencies.
* Is familiar with banking systems.
* Willing to work as part of a team.
* Has strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work.
