Senior Financial Accounts Assistant
Kettering
Hours - Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs
Salary - £26,500 plus benefits

Our Kettering based client is recruiting a Senior Financial Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis to be responsible for the completion of timely and accurate financial transactions for a defined portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Timely and accurate financial transactional processing in the areas of:

* VAT
* Payroll
* Purchase ledger
* Sales ledger
* Bank
* Month end reconciliation and adjustment
* Reviewing other team members work, as well as mentoring Financial Accounts Administrators and Financial Accounts Assistants where required

Experience and Skill Requirements:

* Good literacy and numeracy skills (equivalent to GCSE 5+in English and Maths)
* Experience and working knowledge in basic use of MS Office Excel
* AAT level 4 ,CIMA or ACCA trainee or qualified by experience.
* Have worked with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage
* Experience of using MS Excel in finance role
* Relevant experience in a similar role for at least 3 years covering most of the same transactional areas.
