Role: Mortgage Helpdesk Adviser - 12 Month FTC
Location: Newbury (option for hybrid working once training is complete)
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Salary: £25,497 - £28,496

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our friendly and fast paced team on a 12 month fixed term contract, working as part of our team on our mortgage broker helpdesk and to contribute towards achieving sales targets.
You will be fully supported and provided with a clear training plan to enable you to develop the skills and experience required to:
* Take ownership for managing a variety of enquiries via phone, email and live chat.
* Support third party systems to ensure our products are accurately reflected and to assist brokers with our online broker service.
* Convert new broker enquiries into applications.
Essential criteria:
* Proven experience of working with internal and/or external, customers to ensure the highest quality service experience
* Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Competent in the use of Microsoft packages - Word, Excel, Outlook and Office 365
* GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or equivalent
Desirable criteria:
* CeMAP qualification
* Competent and legal driver
* Some experience of working within a sales environment
* General understanding of the Financial Services industry
* Some knowledge and experience of underwriting
