About the role:
Due to continued growth, we are hiring the position of an Assistant Pensions Manager, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the outsourced pensions management and scheme secretarial team. You will support the client lead and assist in the management and delivery of services to clients.
Key responsibilities:
* Acting as a support for in-house pensions teams
* Serving as a scheme secretary on a permanent or interim basis
* Assisting with project management of a portfolio of pension scheme and specific projects being undertaken
* Assist with the delivery of all aspects of pension scheme governance to ensure full compliance / no breaches.
* Monitoring compliance with scheme business plans
Experienced required:
* Defined Benefits administration experience with understanding of pensions management
* Strong technical understanding of pension legislation, regulations, and other relevant legislation
* Budget management skills
* Project management experience
* Experience of attending trustee / client meetings
Desirable:
* It would be advantageous if the candidate had attainment of the Pensions Regulator Trustee Toolkit or working towards / completion of professional qualification such as APMI or FPMI.
* Experience of new business activity including new business pitches, networking, and attending industry events.
