As an Interim FP&A Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the impressive finance team. This interim position has been created to assist with an increased workload and provide analytical support to ensure smooth financial operations. This role requires an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring valuable insights to financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting thorough financial analysis and providing insights to support business decisions.
* Assisting in the preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
* Supporting the wider FP&A team with data consolidation, variance analysis, and financial modelling.
* Collaborating with various departments to gather necessary data and ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Identifying and analysing key financial trends and variances to provide actionable recommendations.
* Contributing to the development and improvement of financial systems and processes.
* Participating in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar FP&A or financial analysis role (1-2 years in-house) required.
* Circa 2-3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) is essential.
* Background in a Big 4 or Top 6 accounting firm is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
