Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated ICT Technician to join an Academy Trust in Leeds, supporting a network of schools ranging from primary to high schools. This role requires 100% onsite presence, and you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting ICT infrastructure across various educational settings.

Main Duties:
* Provide onsite technical support and troubleshooting for ICT systems across multiple schools within the Academy Trust.
* Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network equipment.
* Ensure ICT systems are operational and perform routine maintenance tasks.
* Support teachers, staff, and students with ICT-related issues and provide training as needed.
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings across different school environments.
* Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues promptly.
* Assist with ICT projects and initiatives, including system upgrades and installations across the Trust.
* Maintain accurate documentation and records of ICT assets and activities within each school.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an ICT Technician or similar role, ideally within an educational environment.
* Strong knowledge of ICT hardware, software, and networking technologies.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to different school environments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support users of varying technical abilities.
* Full driving license and access to a personal vehicle for regular travel between school sites within Middlesbrough.
Tech Stack:
* Operating Systems: Windows, macOS
* Network Technologies: DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN
* Hardware: Desktops, laptops, printers, interactive whiteboards
* Software: Microsoft Office Suite, educational software (e.g., SIMS, Fronter)
* Security: Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
