Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: West Midlands, Birmingham, Dudley, Rowley Regis, Stourbridge, Smethwick, West Bromwich, Oldbury, Halesowen, Tipton, Cradley Heath

Salary: £46,000 inclusive of shift allowance + Pension + Yearly Bonus

The Role:
Working in the Manufacturing Department of a well-established chemical manufacturing company alongside your team maintaining equipment on a planned and reactive basis on a 3 - shift pattern, the successful applicant will be required to:
Play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and safe manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine equipment maintenance
* Troubleshoot/Fault find issues and make repairs when needed
* Support preventative maintenance as directed by the management team
* Support corrective maintenance as directed by the management team

Secondary Responsibilities:
* Maintenance of equipment
* Plant, premises and ancillary equipment
* PLC Fault finding
* Meet production schedules
* Follow safety policies and procedures
* Maintain cleanliness and ensure machinery is working to a high standard
* Perform any other duties that are required

Requirements:
* Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
* Experience in/or relative to a chemical manufacturing environment
* Electrically biased 70/30
* Knowledge of PLC’s
* Fault finding experience
* Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics/drawings
* Use of electrical equipment
* Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience
* Proficient with computers
* Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to work safely and adhere to compliance standards
* Ensure targets and KPI’s are met
