We are looking for a competent Disrepair/Repairs Surveyor to join a temporary assignment within the Not for Profit and Charities sector in Manchester. The role will involve carrying out a range of duties related to construction repair and maintenance.

Description
* Carry out detailed surveys on properties in need of repair or maintenance.
* Provide accurate cost estimates for repair work.
* Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure work is carried out to the highest standard.
* Keep accurate records of work carried out and provide regular updates to management.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
* Attend regular team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices.
* Respond to any emergency repair situations as required.
* Uphold the values and mission of the organisation in all activities.
Profile
A successful Disrepair/Repairs Surveyor should have:
* Relevant qualifications in Surveying or Construction.
* Experience of disrepair or repairs
* Solid contractor management
* Excellent knowledge of construction repair and maintenance practices.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
* Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
