Role: SEMH Teacher
Location: Croydon
Start Date: September
Salary: Paid to scale
Engage Education is currently seeking dedicated and passionate SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Teachers to join am academy in Croydon. This is a full time role
Key Responsibilities:
* Create Inclusive Learning Environments: Develop and implement strategies to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs in inclusive classrooms.
* Individualised Instruction: Tailor teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
* Collaborate with Support Staff: Work closely with teaching assistants, counselors, and other support staff to provide comprehensive support for students with SEMH needs.
* Assessment and Progress Tracking: Monitor and assess students’ progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experienced in teaching either English, Maths Science OR IT
* Specialised training or experience in supporting students with SEMH needs.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
