ACQUISITIONS SURVEYOR

Location: Based from either Gateshead or Leeds
Salary Range: Up to £55,000 depending on experience
Benefits: Car or car allowance, on target bonus of £10,000

As theAcquistions Surveyor, you will play a vital part in managing the growth of the company’s property portfolio.

Job Summary:
Joining as the Acquisitions Surveyor, you will be responsible for acquiring new sites, managing and reviewing leases, and negotiating and managing central service contracts for the business. You will also work with other relevant departments to ensure growth aspirations are being met via acquisitions, and provide high-level technical advice and guidance around property management.

Responsibilities Included:
- Acquiring new sites and managing and reviewing leases
- Negotiating, completing, and managing central service contracts for the business
- Working with other relevant departments to ensure growth aspirations are being met via acquisitions
- Providing high-level technical advice and guidance around property management
- Liaising with external parties such as local councils, fire authorities, and others as applicable.

Skills and Attributes:
- MRICS qualified with a Property related degree
- 2 years post-qualification experience in Property Management and Commercial Acquisitions
- Retail experience either in agency or from a tenant’s perspective
- Able to travel nationally with overnight stays required at times to meet business requirements
- Ability to confidently present in an open forum environment to all levels of the business
- Diligent and thorough with an excellent eye for attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills, especially working with MS office.
