A fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse and Logistic Manager to join a well-established manufacturing organisation based in Stoke-On-Trent with a salary up to £35,000.
The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will sit the warehousing and logistics department with excellent carer development and opportunities.
Candidates will have previous experience within warehousing or logistics specifically within a manufacturing environment at supervisor or manager level and be keen and motivated to succeed.
Role Responsibility of the Warehouse and Logistics Manager role include:
* Developing and implementing logistics strategies to streamline operations and enhance efficiency
* Supervise shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution of products
* Utilise ERP systems to track inventory management, purchase orders and optimise storage
* Co-ordinate with third-party logistics providers for logistic process
* Support inventory management processes and forecasting
* Experience competently managing and leading a team
* Coordinate with production, suppliers and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations
Person Specification of the Warehouse and Logistics Manager:
* Previous experience in logistics and warehouse management within a manufacturing background
* Proficiency in using warehouse/ERP management systems
* Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
* Knowledge of logistics operations including shipping, receiving and inventory management
* Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
Salary
Up to £35k
This role is 100% on site and offers no hybrid working
