JSS Search are partnered exclusively with a leading publishing business who are looking for a Finance Analyst to join their team on a 12-month FTC.

Financial Planning and Finance skills

* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Query
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
* Bachelor’s Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field /
* 4+ years of experience in FP&A
* French language would be an advantage
Main Tasks Overview :
* Management Accounts & Month End Reporting in a multiple currency environment:
* Preparing the monthly management accounts
* Maintaining prepayments and accruals entries
* Providing the reporting with accuracy and respecting deadlines
* Reviewing cost lines and performance against budget and forecast
* Performing variance analysis
Yearly Budget and Quarterly Forecasts Processes:
* Consolidating the yearly budget and quarterly forecasts of the entity
* Updating and maintaining financial models
* Analysing the variances
* Meeting with the Managing Director and department Heads for reviews
* Presenting the budget and forecasts to the Head Office finance team
* Uploading the budget and forecasts in the group reporting platforms
Quarterly Joint Venture reconciliations:
* Preparing the quarterly statements of the US JV
* Yearly Audit
* Supporting the HoF and the Financial Accountant with the year audit.
