Equifind are representing a West End based Family Office who are looking to hire a qualified Accountant for a Finance Manager position due to growth.
Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be an integral part of the Finance team by being given full responsibility, oversight and autonomy of the day-to-day accounting.
This boutique firm provides a range of advisory services with a specific focus in both wealth management and wealth preservation. Managing a substantial AUM portfolio which has grown steadily throughout the years, specifically in the Shipping and Trading industries.

The Role:
The key responsibilities for this permanent Finance Manager role for a West End based Family Office will be:
* Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices for the company.
* Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries.
* Budgeting and forecasting.
* Leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings to relevant functional heads.
* Managing an end-to-end audit process of current systems - while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors.
* Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary, and effectively manage stake-holder expectations throughout.
* Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts.
* Leading the team responsibly, VAT and HMRC processes/compliance.
Application Criteria:
To be considered for the role of permanent Finance Manager with a West End based Family Office, candidates should ideally be:
* Ideally 5-years post qualified experience in Trading or Shipping.
* High grasp of excel.
* Attention to detail, highly organised and able to use own initiative.
* A bright and enthusiastic self-starter with experience in a similar position.
* Excellent time-keeping and organisational skills.
* Have a high level of confidentiality.
* Have an in depth understanding of the accountant role and administration process within the profession.
* Be able to keep calm under pressure.
* ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA qualified.
