Assistant Management Accountant

Derby (Hybrid working model 2 days a week at site)
Are you an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant keen to join a business who will genuinely support your career development? Eaton Syalon are partnering with an industry leader on a fantastic opportunity!
Supporting the Management Accountant you will work as an Assistant Management Accountant preparing monthly management accounts, cash management, and external reporting. This role requires you to have exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to take responsibility for a range of conflicting priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
Support with the production of quality management accounting information and analysis
Assist with month-end tasks alongside the management accountant.
Cash forecasting and fixed asset register
Prepayments and reconciliations including intercompany reconciliations
VAT returns
Audit support
This role is ideally suited to a candidate who possess AAT qualification and exceptional MS Excel skills. Ideally you are keen to further your knowledge with CIMA/ACCA study whilst working within a varied and busy Accounting role. Its likely you have recent, relevant experience working in a similar role.
