Reed Marketing and Creative are pleased to be partnered with a growing organisation in the manufacturing sector. We are seeking a Head of Marketing with a strategic mindset, who has experience working within SME environments, ideally those that have been scaling up. The ideal candidate will come from a regulated environment, such as pharmaceuticals, and is accustomed to managing teams and driving growth. This role requires a forward-looking leader who is enthusiastic about developing their organisation to stay ahead in the shifting market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop strategic marketing insights into customers, competitors, legislation, and market dynamics to inform business plans.
* Expand their digital marketing platform, integrating it with traditional marketing tools, and identify marketing synergies and challenges within the company.
* Evaluate markets to identify opportunities for revenue expansion, including product features, benefits, pricing, and quality.
* Lead the marketing team, providing mentorship and managing marketing costs and budgets, while ensuring adherence to regulations such as GDPR.
* Oversee internal and external communications, including branding, public relations, advertising, and market research management.
Key Requirements:
* University Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising, Communication, or equivalent experience
* Proven success in growing a medium-sized business and organisational capability building.
* Experience within a highly regulated business environment.
* Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to partnership and conflict resolution.
* Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing and a creative mindset to challenge and improve current marketing strategies.
