Head of Finance
Interim - 3 months
Our client is a well respected Derbyshire business with a growing turnover and big plans for the future. They are seeking an experienced Accountant with strong interpersonal skills and a commercial viewpoint.
It is essential you can demonstrate experience of working within a business and have previously reported to investors.
Managing a small accounts team.
Payroll weekly and monthly on Sage
Production of the Management Accounts
Improve systems and controls, implement KPI reporting, increase profit margin

Strategic direction - sell/exit planning, business planning, source funding/cash for acquisitions

Managing external partners banks, tax, accountants, including debt finance, reporting to debt providers and managing covenant compliance as well as co-ordinating with the external auditors to produce statutory accounts for the three legal entities

Produce monthly management accounts pack for the Board, tracking variances from budget, including covenant compliance

Work closely with the Senior Leadership team to drive the company’s financial planning

Perform risk management,

Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the Group’s operations

Budgeting & Forecasting on a regular basis

Take ownership of all other financial forecasting and reporting

To build solid financial processes and reporting

Manage business KPIs that align with financial objectives

Be accountable for profit targets and growth year on year


The position is 4/5 days in the office and not hybrid.
