Job Purpose *Managing a diverse client portfolio, ensuring deadlines and fee recovery targets are met
*Preparation of tax returns for Limited companies, individuals, and Partnerships
*Undertaking tax efficient remuneration planning
*Leading corporate tax planning
*Advising clients on succession planning
*Providing CGT and benefits in kind advisory
*Deliver a strong understanding across taxation with the ability to identify other taxes which might be relevant
*Oversee a tax team, including delegation, reviewing work, and providing training
*Manage the annual compliance function and co-ordinating this across the firm
*Preparation of proposal documents for new clients, quoting for new work, and onboarding new clients.
*Building trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving
*Keeping up-to-date with tax knowledge, championing knowledge sharing across the team

The Successful Applicant *CA, ATT or CTA qualified with previous tax experience in practice
*Supervisory experience with good people management skills
*Technically efficient across taxation, both compliance and advisory
*Working knowledge of software, including Alphatax and CCH
*Self-motivated and reliable who is eager to progress
*A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
*Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
*Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
*Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met
*Good commercial acumen
