Our client is a reputable property management company located in East London who are recruiting for an experienced Property Manager to join their team. This position will be responsible for managing a residential portfolio alongside a few commercial properties.

This is a full time, office-based role, Monday - Friday 9am-5.30pm. Parking is available alongside generous holidays.

Duties include:
-Property management for a residential portfolio
-Liaising with estate agents to instruct new lettings
-Property maintenance management
-Rent Collection - ensuring all rents are paid in a timely manner
-Liaising with tenants to negotiate renewals
-Identify Rent Review opportunities as and when they arise and be responsible for the process
-Send out quarterly invoices to commercial tenants
-Deal with utility providers and local authorities on change of tenancies
-Handling council tax
-Presenting refurbishment proposals with the objective of achieving higher rent
-Attending occasional site visits

Key skills:
-Previous experience in property management
-Proven track record in rent negotiation
-Strong IT skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
