Grafton Banks Finance are supporting a Horsham based education sector, client who are looking for a temporary Finance Assistant/Bookkeeper. This assignment will be 2-3 months initially, supporting the Finance Manager with a range of duties during a busy period.
Duties may include:
* Day-to-day finance operations such as purchase ledger, sales ledger and general bookkeeping.
* Potential support around the monthly payroll
* Ad hoc finance administration and support across the team.
What is needed for this role?
* Availability to start on short notice, and able to commit to a short-term contract.
* Experience working within the education sector, ideally with bespoke accounting systems such as Engage
* Ability to commute to Horsham offices
* Prior finance experience, within a bookkeeping/Finance Assistant level role.
