* Network Engineer
* Liverpool (3 days on-site/2 days remote)
* £38k - £40k + on call allowance
Our client based in Liverpool is currently on the lookout for an experienced Network Engineer to join their highly skilled and fast paced technical team. you will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions for our global customer base within the Public Sector, Retail and the Corporate sector. Their products are a mixture of cloud and on-premise solutions across multiple technologies (LAN/WAN, SDWAN, Unified Comms, WiFi etc). You will be an escalation point for our 2nd line team and be responsible for the Design and Remote Implementation of our custom solutions.#
A good understanding of IT and trained to at least CCNP level and experience in a similar role will be highly beneficial. 
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Working with technologies and systems including: Security, Unified communications, LAN/WAN/SD-WAN
* Troubleshooting and resolution of complex networking incidents and escalations via tickets from our ITSM tool
* Act as an escalation point to our 1st and 2nd Line Team whilst monitoring and fixing of networking alerts
* Root cause analysis and reporting of network trends
* Identification of improvements to networking systems and infrastructure
* Hardware and firmware upgrades to networking infrastructure – remote and onsite.
* Comprehensive monitoring of production networks and infrastructure
* On call support (escalations only, as part of rota). May include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays as agreed.
The following skills and experience will be essential for this role:
* Previous corporate level 3rd line networking support experience.
* CCNA & CCNP qualified 
* Excellent customer service including key stakeholder interactions.
* Experience in Cisco, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN
