Business Account Manager, new permanent career opportunity for an experienced candidate who can demonstrate a proven track record in maintaining existing key accounts, whilst identifying and developing new business opportunities. Working for this global manufacturer of automotive products and parts, this full-time post is based in the Tyne and Wear region and is offered in an office-based setting. Offering an annual salary of £28k-£30k, you will report to the Sales Management team supporting new and continued growth within the organisation.
We are seeking a candidate who has worked within a manufacturing environment, someone who understands the customer journey from initial point of contact, through to cost and product availability, manufacturing requirements, supply chain delivery and final product despatch. Ideally your career will evidence a strong awareness of contract preparation and delivery supported by a knowledgeable appreciation of commercial service level agreements and written contracts.
As the Business Account Manager, you will work closely with an existing customer base, taking valuable time to understand the current business levels and product supply, enhancing the customer experience, whilst securing new and retained revenue streams. You will be responsible for maintaining customer accounts via the internal MRP system, producing quotes, and pricing options, communicating in writing and via the telephone, therefore excellent verbal and written communication skills are key.
Ideally educated to higher level in business and finance, this position offers you the opportunity to progress and develop your established customer account management skills, unafraid of maximising business development potential and further development. Naturally, you will have advanced working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
