Saw Operator
Location: Nr Wareham
Salary: £28,500
Hours: 08:30am- 5:00pm Monday-Friday (1 hour lunch)
Benefits: 20 days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Free parking, Pension.
Aspire Jobs are delighted to be working with our client who are a well-established manufacturing business based near Wareham, Dorset. They are looking for a Saw operator to join their Team.
The successful candidate must have Saw cutting / machine operating experience within a similar industry. You will be required to work closely with your Colleagues to ensure the smooth running within the factory. It is a very busy environment, having to measure, cut and dispatch so excellent attention to detail is essential. A forklift Licence would be desirable but not essential.
Please note Transport is essential due to the location.
The successful Saw Operator will:-
* Previous Saw / Machine operative experience
* Forklift Licence desirable - not essential
* Excellent numeracy skills
* Ability to build strong relationships (internal/external)
* Have great attention to detail
* Be able to prioritise tasks in order to work effectively and to ensure deadlines are met
* Calm under pressure
* Have a flexible nature
Saw Operator job Duties:-
* Operating a circular saw and cutting aluminium plate
* Calculate cutting plan to get best yield
* Load Saw with a Forklift / Vacuum lifting equipment
* Pack completed orders onto pallets
* Complete relevant paperwork / delivery notes
* Additional warehouse duties when required.
