Job Summary:
The Teaching Assistant will support teachers in delivering high-quality education, assist in the planning and implementation of learning activities, and provide personalized support to students. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, students, and parents to foster a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Classroom Support:
* Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons.
* Provide one-on-one and group support to students, tailoring assistance to meet individual learning needs.
* Assist in the management of classroom behavior, promoting a positive and orderly learning environment.

* Student Development:
* Support students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they have access to the curriculum and are fully included in school activities.
* Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.
* Encourage and promote the social and emotional development of students.

* Resource Management:
* Help prepare learning materials and resources.
* Assist in the organization and maintenance of the classroom environment.

* Communication:
* Maintain effective communication with teachers, parents, and external agencies regarding student progress and welfare.
* Participate in parent-teacher meetings and contribute to discussions about student development.

* Professional Development:
* Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
* Stay up-to-date with educational developments and best practices in teaching and learning.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Essential:
* Strong understanding of child development and educational principles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

* Desirable:
* Experience working with children with SEN.
* First Aid certification.
* Knowledge of current educational technology and digital learning tools.
