Job Description:
Finishing Machine Operator - Thame
Pertemps Aylesbury is currently recruiting for an experienced Finishing packaging operator for our client based in Oxfordshire
Salary: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Rotating (Mon-Fri 6am-2pm, Mon- Thurs 2pm- Midnight)
Duties: * Producing finished products of various styles, complexity, and materials across a range of equipment, both efficiently and to a high degree of quality
* Set up packaging machines according to machine and individual job specifications
* Operate and maintain machinery used in the production process
* General machine maintenance and cleanliness standards.
* Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
* Achieve daily production plan to efficient targets.
Requirements: * Experience in a similar role with manufacturing machinery
* Strong understanding of production processes
* Good understanding of quality standards
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask
* Strong interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
* Ability to work with minimal supervision, meet deadlines, and handle a wide variety of responsibilities
* Demonstrates satisfactory working relationships and shows respect for colleagues
