The Role:
They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in East London. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their career in quantity surveying and gain hands-on experience in a variety of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contracts.
* Measure and value work done on-site.
* Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
* Provide support in contract administration and management.
* Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project success.
* Assist in the preparation of final accounts and project reports.
Requirements:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and professional development.
* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
