About the Role:
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Computer Science to students aged 11-16.
* Develop and implement a curriculum that inspires students and fosters a deep understanding of computer science principles.
* Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
* Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
* Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events to enhance the overall educational experience of students.
About You:
We are seeking a candidate who:
* Holds a relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* Has qualified teacher status (QTS) and experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary school level.
* Demonstrates a passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students.
* Possesses excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
* Is committed to continuous professional development and staying current with educational best practices and technological advancements.
* Is a team player with strong communication skills, capable of building positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
