Job Description:
Page Personnel are working alongside a very successful company based in Southport. Due to recent growth in the business they are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temp to perm basis. This is an amazing opportunity to work in the Accounting & Finance Department of an industry leader in the Energy & Natural Resources sector.

Description
As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:
* Assisting with financial reports and records.
* Manage day-to-day transactions.
* Purchase Ledger
* Credit Control
* Sales Ledger
* Reconcile bank statements.
* Prepare and manage invoices.
* Support monthly payroll and keep organised records.
* Assist with budget preparation.
* Track expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings of the company.
* Provide administrative support during budget preparation.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
* Experience using Sage
* Familiarity with accounting software.
* Strong numeracy skills.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
Job Offer

* Hourly rate circa £12-14 p/h (£25-27k perm equivalent)
