Quantity Surveyor (Hotels New Builds and extensions)
£50,000 - £55,000 + fantastic benefits
Opportunity for growth
Are you an ambitious Quantity Surveyor with a passion for the hotel and leisure industry? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a fantastic Construction Consultancy based in central Birmingham! Specialising in the new builds of Hotels and Leisure facilities.
Why apply? * 36.5-hour week - Daily hours of 7.5 Monday to Thursday and 6.5 Friday.
* Flexible start / Finish times.
* 25 working days holiday plus normal statutory holidays.
* The Company operates a non-contributory staff health scheme which you will be eligible to join at the end of your probation period.

What We’re Looking For: * Experience: Minimum of three years in the hotel/leisure industry.
* Qualifications: Completed APC or on the path to completion.
* Skills: Self-motivated, excellent verbal and written communication, strong client-facing abilities, and effective problem-solving skills.
* Work Ethic: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
Role Overview:
Projects: Work on new build and refurbishment hotel projects, managing multiple projects from start to finish.
Daily Activities: * Estimating and cost planning
* Value management
* Client and design team liaison
* Site meetings
* Query resolution
* Cost reporting
* Compliance checks
* FF&E order coordination
* Monitoring cost variance and cash flow
* Ensuring timely applications
* Negotiating and agreeing on final accounts
* Coordinating Practical Completion
