Salon Manager - Full Time

Location: Windsor, Berkshire

Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 per annum plus commission and bonus scheme

Situated in the heart of Windsor, this bustling salon offers exclusive skincare treatments, providing an extensive array of face and body services, including waxing and nail care.

The Role:
The Salon Manager is responsible for the efficient operation and people management of the salon. This includes ensuring exceptional service delivery and upholding the highest treatment standards while promoting the brand culture and ethos to drive business success. The role involves a mix of hands-on treatments and administrative responsibilities, requiring both a commercial outlook and leadership experience within a salon environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily salon operations, ensuring compliance with the Business Operations Manual and high standards of customer care and service.
* Ensure the salon meets all safety and regulatory guidelines, including staff training on first aid, fire safety, and data protection.
* Manage, monitor, and evaluate staff performance through appraisals, team meetings, and professional development to enhance performance.
* Review and assist in setting quarterly and annual budgets and targets, driving the business forward to achieve company-set goals.
* Order, control, and maintain adequate stock levels, and produce financial and activity reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
* Support and promote internal and external promotional activities and marketing initiatives, monitor appointment bookings and payments, and perform general reception and administrative duties.

Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Beauty Therapist with NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent, including leadership experience.
* Proven Spa/Salon Management experience with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and independent working skills.
* Strong organisational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, and attend salon events outside regular hours.
* Competence with the use of Phorest software (preferred), and basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
