This is a perfect opportunity for a Junior Quant/Data Analyst to kick start a career in finance/trading.
My client is the trading/broking division of a very well known Global Bank.
They are looking for the addition of a Quantitative/Data Analyst to join a team of experienced quants and algorithmic developers, this is a role interacting with traders and external clients
You will be involved in a variety of tasks from analysis of market microstructure to algorithmic trading and overseeing tooling and performance for Algo performance along with:
- analysis of market microstructure and parameters
- monitoring electronic trading components and style of trading
- researchinto prediction of market liquidity
- analysis of potential new trading strategies
- opportunity to be involved in conceptual development of cutting edge algorithms
You will ideally have previous data/quant analysis experience along with:
- prior experience of programming languages (python)
- knowledge of shell scripting, R, SQL or KDB
- familiar with database structures
