Accountancy Recruit is partnering with a well-established design & manufacturing business based in Mildenhall, Suffolk in the recruitment of an Accountant. The purpose of this role is to provide monthly management accounts, month end closure, and reporting on debtors and creditors resulting in cash forecasting. This is a varied and key role within the Accounts Team.
* Preparation of monthly management accounts: P&L reports,
* Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Posting of general journals and uploads to accounting system
* Product cost coding
* Reporting on customer sales, debtors, creditors and Bank/Cash
* Submitting P11Ds
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Assisting with year-end audit evidence and compiling the initial pack
* Processing of weekly payroll and cover for monthly as required.
* Dealing with payroll and pension queries and administration
* Overseeing clocking system for weekly payroll and resolving queries
* Overseeing subsidiary cashflow and month end payment run
* Providing support and monitoring purchase and sales ledger function
* Any other ad-hoc duties as they arise.
The Successful Candidate
* Part Qualified; ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, AAT or Qualified by Experience.
* Strong Excel skills. Dynamics Navision would be an advantage.
* All round accounts experience including month end close and management accounting.
Remuneration
* Salary: £35 - 37,500,000 pa
* Hours: Monday to Thursday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm; Friday 9.00 am to 4.30 pm
* Study support if needed
* Holidays: 30 days holiday including bank holidays
* Pension: Auto enrolment - Employer 3%, Employee 5%.
* 3-month probation office based and 1 day per week remote thereafter.
