Job Description:

Main criteria:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy restaurant.
- IRO £33,000 a year (depending on experience), plus weekly & monthly tips.
- Full time.
Role:
* As the Sous Chef , You will assist the Head Chef with leading the kitchen and deputise in their absence.
* You will help lead the team and ensure high standards are met and great food is served daily to the company specifications.
* You will ensure all Health and Safety processes are in place and maintain a 5-star food hygiene rating.
* You will assist in achieving site GP targets as well as managing stock and labour costs.
The ideal candidate:
* You will be a passionate Sous Chef/Jnr Sous Chef who has experience delivering high standards.
* An ambitious Sous Chef/Jnr Sous Chef who can assist the Head Chef with leading the kitchen and deputise in their absence.
* A real passion to provide impeccable service, working hard to maintain and improve performance in order to provide an amazing customer experience, well-presented dishes, and a great kitchen atmosphere.
* A leader who can ensure that the kitchen is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and make sure that every dish is consistent and to the standards set.
* A motivator, who is happy to lead and train junior members of the team.
* A great communicator, excellent at developing relationships with different personalities within the kitchen and restaurant.
* The ability to work with senior management and the front of house team to ensure that the restaurant maintains it high standards of service and food is prepared and presented to a consistent, high standard.
