Our client is recruiting for a Business Development Manager for its unique Ultra High Expansion (UHX) Technology. This is an exciting opportunity to grow the market for this game changing downhole solution and play a key strategic role in global business development.
The Role
You will be the key focal point for the sale and promotion of UHX packers, plugs and straddles within the energy industry. You will work with customers across Europe, Caspian and Sub-Sahara Africa, demonstrating how this advanced technology will add value and enable operations.
The role will also be pivotal in supporting their teams in other global regions to realise UHX market opportunities, by providing application expertise and commercial strategy to secure new projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Business development activity to assess the market, develop opportunities and foster relationships with key stakeholders within their current and potential customer base.
* Business plan creation and execution for Europe, Caspian and SSA to maximise opportunities.
* Consult with customers on the challenges they face, understand the technical need they have and work with their technical support and engineering teams to develop a solution.
* Develop and deliver comprehensive proposals with commercial input to meet the need of the challenge posed by customer applications.
* Assess the case for the development of new products to flex with the ever-changing market in the ESSA area.
Knowledge and Experience
* Excellent sales experience, a self-starter, experience in developing markets and a tenacious attitude to seeking out and capitalising on opportunities.
* In-depth knowledge of in-well production technology.
* A good understanding of how in-well technologies interface with the reservoir, fostering a consultative approach in addressing customer challenges.
* A curious mindset to research applications, challenge customers and engage with the market to grow and maximise the potential of their business.
