Job Description:
A very interesting and varied Internal Sales Executive / Account Manager role with a successful and growing supplier of technical industrial consumables, adhesives, silicones, tapes, seals and gaskets to the manufacturing industry and OEMs.
 
BASIC SALARY: £28,000 - £35,000

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Evesham, Stratford, Redditch, Alcester, Droitwich, Worcester, Leamington Spa, Broadway, Moreton in the Marsh, Wellesbourne, Studley, Shipston on Stour.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Internal Sales Executive, Account Manager- Technical Industrial Consumables, Adhesives, Silicones, Tapes, Seals and Gaskets to Manufacturing Industry and OEMs
 
· A classic internal sales/ account management role in which you will be given an account base of 100+ customers to manage and develop. This will involve making outbound calls and handling incoming.
· Whilst there will be very little cold calling / new business, this is a proactive sales role in which you will be tasked with up selling and range selling using your questioning skills to find out where you can further help customers with extra solutions and product lines for their businesses.
· You will be generally keeping on top of and being aware of developments at customers and making sure you chase up potential business and orders.
· You will work closely with a very experienced and capable senior Inside Sales Executive / Manager from whom you can learn a lot.
· There may well be the opportunity to go out and see customers with other sales personnel where appropriate.

To be considered for this potentially very rewarding role in terms of remuneration and career progression, you will have;
· Experience in a proactive internal sales role, ideally with technical products or in an industrial environment and / or the ability to pick up, assimilate and impart technical information to customers.
· Excellent rapport building and account management skills with the ability to and / or experience in spotting opportunities and range/up selling to customers.
 
THE COMPANY:
 
Established for over thirty years, my client is a distributor of a very wide range of technical industrial consumables components including industrial silicones, adhesives, encapsulants, sealants, tapes, seals and gaskets representing a range of worldwide manufacturers.
 
They have unique repack facilities enabling them to deliver bespoke packaging solutions. Their key messages are added value by deep technical knowledge, product customisation, and outstanding customer service.
 
They have doubled in size in the last four years via organic growth and shrewd acquisition.
In 2021 they were acquired by a FTSE 100 multinational business and have gone from strength to strength since then.
 
There are 40 staff in total with 14 in sales and customer services including external Sales Managers, BDMs and Customer Service Representatives and a marketing and e-Commerce team headed up by the Marketing Manager.  
 
PROSPECTS:
 
To grow this role into a more senior one or even to get into field sales in a very successful and growing company.
