Driver Hire Gatwick is out an about again for a new Class 2 HGV Driver ready to start with one of clients in Crawley who is a leading provider of innovative logistics and transportation solutions. They specialize in delivering a wide range of products with a commitment to efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. As part of their continued growth, they now are seeking a skilled Class 2 Drivers to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport a variety of goods, including palletized freight and general haulage, to various destinations across the Southeast.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
Adhere to driving hours, working time directives, and all road safety regulations to ensure legal compliance.
Uphold the professional image of Driver Hire Gatwick by maintaining a clean vehicle, presenting oneself professionally, and ensuring all documentation is accurately completed.
Oversee the safe loading and unloading of goods, ensuring the security and integrity of all transported items.
Working Requirements:
Monday to Friday flexible between the hours of 07:00-04:00
Expect varied start times and different routes each week.
Maintain FORS accredited training, provided in-house.
Requirements:
Valid digitacho card and CPC qualification card.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
Understanding of the Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Punctual, reliable, and dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
