The role:
* Working closely in a 1-1 environment and small groups to support behavioural issues
* Encouraging positive behaviours, detecting areas of intervention, and negotiating improvement strategies
* Ensure the smooth running of the Exclusion Room by ensuring that the correct procedures are adhered to, and the room is well maintained, neat and tidy.
* Demonstrating understanding and commitment to the improvement of students

The school:
* Works holistically with students, parents and other schools to provide the best support network for their students
* Provides free training to support Continued Professional Development
* Has a teaching area dedicated to specialist teaching for students with lower-level learning abilities
* extra-curriculars and enrichment groups


The ideal candidate must have:
* A passion for working closely with SEND students to achieve their personal goals and behaviours
* Experience working with SEND students
* Worked as a behaviour specialist or in intervention support

The ideal candidate may have:
* A psychology or relevant University degree
* Experience working 1-1 with children and in small group capacity
* Experience supporting students with SEND
