Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Shipping Coordinator with experience of working in-house. This is a busy role for a growing team at a well established, global business.
We are looking for someone with experience in Export, can be any location globally. Experience of working with a warehouse team would also be an advantage.
This is a well established business with a wide range of shipments. From small to large, across Air, Road and Sea.
Main duties to include:
* Booking transport for a range of shipments
* Keeping customers up to date with any challenges or changes to the delivery schedule
* Liaising with carriers across UK and Globally, ensuring the best possible service levels and pricing
* Produce and submit invoices
* Ensure correct documentation has been received from freight forwarders
* Liaise with Warehouse Managers and keep them up to date with delivery schedules
* Liaise with business customers and build relationships
* Ensure all shipments have correct documentation
We are looking for:
* Experience in Import or Export
* Strong administration skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good communication skills
* Someone who is organised and can work in a fast paced role
