Job Description:
Cedar Recruitment are delighted to be supporting with the recruitment of an Assistant Category Manager to work as a generalist for a leading Education client who are voted 7th best in the UK for research.

This role is permanent and is paying between £38,165 - £44,722 For this role you must be able to get into East London 2 days per week.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Assistant Category Manager, will work closely with the Category Managers, supporting them on a vast range of procurement projects. The role will require the successful person to maintain and develop low value purchasing agreements to achieve value for money and follow good practice.
The role will involve supporting on category requirements to identify and deliver value for money and work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure transparent and compliant procurement tenders are carried out.
Essential Experience:
* You must be have experience of running procurement’s across the public sector (PCR2015)
* You will have managed a vast range of procurement’s across different categories
