We’re on the hunt for a Special Events & Conferences Manager to join this leading charity and lead the charge in delivering a spectacular events portfolio.

This hybrid role requires occasional travel to central Peterborough, a short walk from Stanley Park, surrounded by local amenities. They’re a friendly bunch and have a social committee that arranges a variety of activities to get involved in.
Now the role itself…
You’ll be at the helm, working closely with senior stakeholders, leading a talented team of 2, project managing unforgettable events from conception through to delivery, and ensuring both income & relationship growth.
You’ll be creating sponsorship proposals for the events portfolio and be comfortable preparing, delivering and securing sponsorship following presentations and pitches. Obviously you’ll want to showcase your success in this new role, so overseeing budgets, allocation, and performance reporting is essential.
As you will gather from the above ideally for this role you will:
* Have worked in a charity or similar,
* Proven success in securing & developing new activity
* Experience in project & people management.

Salary: £35-£40k DOE
Location: Hybrid/Peterborough
Hours: 37.5
