Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of the Local Authority based in Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Paralegal to join the in-house legal team within the Legal Safeguarding Team you will primarily work in the area of Adult Social care and/or Education.
Role: Adult Social Care Paralegal/Legal Assistant
Location: Greater Manchester - Hybrid Working
Rate: £17.00 - £20.00PH
Contract Length: 3 Months Ongoing
Responsibilities
* You will be a key member of the Adult Social Care Legal team.
* Team skills and the ability to interpret legislation in a common sense and practical manner, having due regard to the Council’s legal responsibilities
* The post involves provision of significant levels of support to the Legal Services Manager, solicitors and social work clients.
About You
* Great communication skills, written and oral.
* Having a high level of attention to detail
* Strong IT Skills
* Able to Assist Solicitors with caseloads
* Experience of working in a Social Care Legal team, ideally in a local authority
